La Paz - Bolivia MUSEUM OF ART ANTONIO PAREDES CANDIA", under the Municipal Government of El Alto (GMEA) has managed to become one of the main cultural spaces in the city of El Alto, especially for those who are followers of art and reading. The museum, named after the Bolivian writer, Antonio Paredes Candia, since the writer, in life, prompted the opening of a place of cultural entertainment, for which he made a donation of 113 books of his own. The museum was inaugurated on May 29, 2002 and has more than 503 works of art from different genres and 11,931 books, when this space has three levels, in which a library is implemented. On the ground floor you can find the room graphic arts and watercolor called "Walter Solon Romero," it has 11 artworks on display and a display of Sacred Art depicting colonial paintings and sculptures; on the same floor is the living "Antonio Paredes Candia" on the books of the late writer is exposed. On the first level is the living paintings called "Antonio Llanque Huanca", which works by national and international artists are exhibited installed. In the second and third level is the living archeology "Carlos Ponce Sanjinez" in the place 161 archaeological pieces from metal and stone are exposed; also there are three figures Ekeko (god of wealth) with their clothing of the 1890s, 1900 and 1045. In the fourth level, the living sculpture called "Victor Zapana Serna" featuring sculptures in different materials such as stone, marble, wood, bronze and ceramic works by artists such as sculptor path, Marina Nuñez del Prado, Victor Zapana works Fausto Aoiz, Augustine Callisaya, Emiliano Lujan and Gonzalo Condarco, among others.
